1)Renter’s Age Qualification:
The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 for categories Mini & Economy. For all other categories minimum renters age is 23 yrs. Drivers over 21 yrs. and under 23 yrs. old may rent vehicles – Cargo Van excluded, at a daily surcharge of 8 EUR excluding vat and airport fee. Maximum charge 112 Euro excluding vat and airport fee per rental per renter There are no restrictions or surcharges for drivers aged 23 and older. Maximum renters age applies for drivers older than 75 years old. Senior driver fee (for drivers over 75 years of age) 10 per day maximum 140 EUR excluding vat and airport fee. Maximum Renters age is 80 years of age.
2)Driver’s License:
The driving license of the driver must be issued at least 12months prior to rental.
Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving
Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.

3)Payment and Deposit
a) Visa & Mastercard cards are accepted.
b) DEPOSIT FOR GUARANTEE: Upon pick up of the vehicle will preauthorize an amount from the driver’s credit card as a deposit for guarantee which will be fully refunded at the end of the rental. Please note that the refund can take up to 15 working days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card. The amount of the deposit varies according to the car group.
All groups 290 € except SUV and VAN which is 390 €
The deposit amount must be taken on a valid CREDIT card only.
All cards presented must be in the renter’s name.
4)INSURANCES
a. Third Party Insurance
Third Party insurance is mandatory by Greek Law and offered free of charge.
Covers Bodily Injury up to 1.220.000 €, (except the driver of the rented vehicle) and Property Damage to up 1.220.000 €, – including passengers of the rented vehicle (except the driver of the rented vehicle).
b. CDW – Collision Damage Waiver
A collision damage waiver only covers rental car damage. It does not cover any liability -related expenses, such as if someone causes an accident that damages other vehicles or results in injuries. In addition, a waiver won’t cover risky behaviors that result in damage, such as taking a rental car off-road, speeding, or driving drunk. Loss or theft of the vehicle is not covered.
Note: this type of insurance does not provide coverage concerning damages caused at the underside part of the vehicle, inside part of the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors, car key damage, the antenna, incorrect fuel, damages caused during transportation by ferry without a prior written authorization by SAFE CARS at the time of pick up the car, acts of God, Terrorist Attacks, wheels and tires. The Accident Statement should always be supplemented so that the insurances’ covers will be in effect. If there is a third party involved to an incident, we recommend clients to call the police authorities to the incident. In case of car damage or a car theft, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 25,00 EUR plus VAT and Airport Fee will be charged to the driver. This charge applies irrelevantly of party at fault.
CDW is always included free of charge and it limits the renter responsibility:

c. THW – Theft waiver
Covers the rented vehicle against total theft by paying the amount of 5,00€ plus VAT and airport charges per day with a deductible amount of:

1612€ excess For Compact, Compact SUV, Intermediate, Intermediate SUV.
1860€ excess For Standard, Standard Wagon, Ful Size and Van
Note: this type of insurance does not cover, attempted theft of the vehicle, car key loss, theft of personal belongings that were in/on the vehicle, acts of God and Terrorist Attacks. The car key and the Police Document of vehicle theft that was reported by the driver of the car, should always be presented so that the insurances’ covers will be in effect. If TW is not including to the Rental Agreement, the renter is liable to pay the value of the rented car. In case of car damage or a car theft, an administration fee (D.A.F.) of 25,00 EUR plus VAT and Airport Fee will be charged to the driver. This charge applies irrelevantly of party at fault.
d. Super Collision Damage Waiver
Super Collision Damage Waiver is optional and it reduces the excess amount of CDW at half.
e. STHW-Super Theft Waiver
Super Theft Waiver is optional and it reduces the excess amount of THW at half
f. Premium Protection
Premium protection package reduces excess to 100 waives your financial liability in case of damage to the vehicle, windscreen, mirrors, headlights and/or tires as a result of collision, theft or attempted theft.
It also includes personal accident protection, covering drivers and passengers in the event of bodily injury or death. What Premium Protection does not cover is damage at the inside part of the vehicle-saloon, car key damage or loss and incorrect fuel.
You must be aged 26 or over to book Premium package.
5) After hour Policy
It is provided for pick up and drop off outside the operating hours at charge of 35€
VAT included. Office Hours are 09:00-21:00
6) Refueling Charges
The rented vehicle must be returned at same fuel level as at the time of pick up.
In other case will be charged a refueling service based upon the fuel used.
7) Additional Driver
Daily charge for the additional driver is 4€ Vat included.
8) Cross Border
It is not allowed and a penalty of 15.000 euros will be charged to those travelling without permission.
9) Biological Cleaning
Vehicles returned with stained interior that is not cleaned with common washing, client’s will be charged 110 euros including VAT for the biological cleaning of the car
10) Cancellation policy
Cancellations can be made via email or phone. For cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the rental period start, the whole amount of your down payment is returned and there will be no additional costs. For cancellations made 48 hours or less prior to the rental period start, the down payment is NOT refunded. No refund is made for no-shows at the destination, failure to produce the appropriate documentation, early returns or cancellations after the start date.
